8 Ways To Be Successful On A Daily Basis

8 Ways To Be Successful On A Daily Basis

January is the time for you to set goals and be the successful person you want to be! We’ve discussed Petite Resolutions for the blog yesterday, but today I want to talk about you! I want to share 10 ways you can be successful on a daily basis! The new year is in full swing and it’s your turn to get inspired by elegance, glamour, and success! There are little things you can do everyday that will help you become a successful person. These should be repeated on a daily basis. Habit formation is important and so is patience! Β Here are 8 things you can do everyday:

Make A List

I use my favorite Day Designer Planner (found here) to help make To-Do lists of things I need to accomplish on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. Having those things in front of you can really help when you are trying to visualize what to do next. Keep a back up list handy on your phone.

Declutter

Whether you are at home or in a cubicle all day, being organized and keeping the clutter to a minimum will not only motivate you to work harder, but it will make your life 90% easier for that day. Click here to read my one day organization tip.

Wake Up Earlier

Wake up earlier to enjoy your breakfast and start the day off right. Oversleeping is only ever ok if you don’t have somewhere to be. Don’t be late to the office or waste your time lounging about. Get out there and get active. You’ll feel more energized and you’ll have the same 24hours everyone else is having. Use that time wisely!

Wake up and smell the coffee with this cute coffee mug from Kate Spade!

Network

Try to network or reach out to somebody everyday. Whether it’s a company you are working with or a friend you haven’t spoken to in a long time. It’s important to be social and kind. When someone remembers you for taking initiative, you’ll be thankful you reached out and said hello. Print some business cards and keep them handy!

Get Your Heart Pumping

If you want to be successful you need to have the stamina for it. Sitting and being inactive is one of the worst things you can do for your body. Get out there and take a walk everyday, hit the gym, or do some yoga. Our favorite yoga mat is this one from Target!

Eat Right

Buy organic and plan out your meals for ultimate nutrient intake. If you want to energy to pursue success, you need to feed your body and mind. Look at Pinterest for some ideas.

Read And Learn

One of the best things you can do is keep learning and reading something new everyday. Take a look at some current events pertaining to your career or things of interest. Subscribe a paper based newspaper (let’s support them!) and catch up on the morning’s news. Be informed and be constantly learning.

Alone Time

Have some alone time and treat yourself to breaks, spa’s, and peaceful places. Being social is great, but you should set some time aside for yourself everyday, whether it’s 5 minutes or an hour. Take the time to reflect, meditate, or do something for you. Have fun!

I love to pair my alone time with a relaxing candle like this one from Yankee Candle

Fabulous tips!! While I don’t think I can manage waking up earlier (so not an early morning kind-of girl), I will definitely attempt every other tip on the list! πŸ™‚

I seriously CANNOT live without my planner. Sets me up for success every day. I also can’t function if my desk is too messy (which is inevitable in the busy season). Great post!
