Day 1: $100 Nordstrom Gift Card – 12 Days of Bijou Giveaway

Happy December 1st!

It’s officially time to celebrate the holidays and the very first day of my 12 Days of Bijou Giveaway!

This is the first time I am doing a giveaway by myself and consecutively for 12 days! It’s very exciting and also a little nerve-wracking. I have no idea how this is going to go – but I hope it does.

So with much happiness and in the spirit of giving, the first giveaway prize is….

Nordstrom is an amazing place to find a new holiday outfit or get presents for loved ones. They have so many fashionable things that everyone can enjoy. I’d like to gift one lucky winner a $100 Nordstrom gift card to use for themselves or to buy presents for their loved ones.

Scroll down to see how you can enter & also get 10 extra entry points!

Nordstrom has some really great outfit pieces, beauty products, and home decor pieces in its collection. $100 can get you a complete holiday look or even take care of getting your loved ones some much needed pampering presents. I’ve linked my favorite things from the store below.

This giveaway starts at 8:30 am CST and ends in 24 hours. The winner will be announced shortly after and must contact me within 24 hrs to claim their prize. Giveaway is only open to US residents and all giveaway participants must be 13+ years of age. Giveaway or spam only accounts will not be chosen.

Thank you ever so much for joining & best of luck! The winner will be announced on my Instagram page so stay tuned!

If I were to win the $100 Nordstrom gift card, I would buy my mother something nice to wear that not only reminds her of her children’s love at times when she feels alone, but makes her feel confident and beautiful. My mother recently divorced my father after 40+ years, takes care of my older brother with special needs, and works full time. Giving her a gift like this would really make her Christmas.

  • What do you do when you want to pack light but like a lot of outfit changes? 🤔👗 Why, still pack all the outfits, of course! 😀
Ok, i know, unrealistic, right? But it is possible! On my last trip I packed a whole weeks worth of outfits in a carry on - new outfit each day too. It was such a great success that I decided to write about what packing tips have helped me the most. And please, none of that "get this new suitcase" stuff 😂 Any old suitcase will do!

  • My photographer thinks that this particular pose reminded them of pictures of vintage hollywood stars. Also calls this the “Princess Margaret” because it’s a pose she did that we took inspo from. What do you think?
Being timeless is not just about what you wear, it’s an attitude 💄🕶
In middle school & high school I wore berets, trench coats, and loved everything vintage. I was the odd one out. But now I embrace a really timeless wardrobe. It’s classic, simple, but still glamorous.
Click the link in my bio to learn how to look timeless in just 5 easy steps. And no, you don’t have to wear only vintage. I am proudly a modern vintage blogger and everyday clothes can still be timeless!
Let me know what you think of the post!
The dress I’m wearing here was from @modcloth - several years ago (but it still fits like a charm). The camera, however, is not reproduction. Authentic vintage circa 1930s/40s.
  • I'm all for accessories that look expensive but are in fact, such a steal. This beautiful purse for example? $24! Don’t you just love things that look expensive but aren’t?
Looked gorgeous for the rosé terrace event. I was surrounded by luxury handbags and all I could think was "oh my goodness, this purse looks even better"

  • There's a rule for the Printer's Row Lit Fest: If it doesn't rain at least one day of the Lit Fest, it's not a proper Lit Fest! And rain means good luck.
And what luck I've had meeting my new friends at @thecoopersouthbank - a new residential property opening up near the Chicago River's south branch! I just checked out their tent, learned about their amazing property (it's gonna have many amenities & things to do), and of course, checked out some books! #thecoopersouthbank #ad
Stop by their tent: JJ and check out all the wonderful books for sale, learn about their artistic roots in Chicago, and grab a tote so you can pile dozens of books into - believe me, you'll need it!
How many books do you think I'll buy today? 10? 20? Who knows....
  • The world looks better through rosé colored glasses 🕶 Happy #nationalroséday 🥂
Spent the loveliest afternoon at the Roses & Rosé Garden Rooftop party at @thegwenchicago - If you’re local (or just visiting) make sure to check out this hotel! It was the perfect Rosé party with delicious foods all made with Rosé!
It’s beautiful. The words I would use to describe it is simply luxurious. The interiors are sophisticated but subtle with deep colors & metallic accents. The rooftop was spacious yet very cozy. I secretly wanted to take home the chair I was sitting in! 😂 Don’t think I would have gotten too far.
I had so much fun dressing up for this event. I wanted to show you my lace dress but I ended up taking this close up instead 📸 My lace dress is linked in my bio & if you watch my stories, you can see my whole look!

  • Probably looking at pictures of cats 🐈
But when I'm not looking at cats, I'm working 📸. Eternally grateful I can use my iPhone to take quality photos for myself and my clients. I say this all the time and i'll say it again: you do NOT need an expensive DSLR to take pretty pictures for your blog or business. Practice, hone in on an editing style, and play around with light. The more you practice, the better you'll get.
Phone accessories like tripods, and ring lights can help. But you really only need one thing - a case! Sometimes when I'm trying to take the perfect flatlay shot, I drop my phone 😱 Thankfully, I have a strong and beautiful case to protect it 🙏🏻
The case pictured here is a Hailee x iDeal Case @idealofsweden in Striped Rose (how very vintage and Bijou!). Right now, my readers can get 20% off this case with code: HAILEEXUS
Click the link in my bio to check it out (all phone models avaliable), or shop my daily pics by following me on the app #liketkit --
