The Girl Boss Gift Guide

I’ve been a girl boss now for 2 years.

From starting this blog to becoming a freelance social media manager and blog coach.

I’ve been working away on my couch and dining room table every day and every night. I’ve made notes on what tools and gifts have helped me along the way.

Many of you may be female entrepreneurs, or perhaps you know one (or live with one). If so, then you know that the we deal with a lot = balancing work and life, dealing with angry clients, or simply just being burned out from the constant in and out, the constant emails, and the constant education that comes with running your own business.

I’m a minimalist – but I know that having some cute essentials that are both chic and functional are important in my business and life. Since Christmas just around the corner and birthday’s or celebrations are often, I thought I’d create the Girl Boss Gift Guide!

Do you have a girl boss in your life you'd love to give a Christmas gift to? Or are you a girl boss or female entrepreneur who wants a little self love? This is the perfect gift guide for female entrepreneurs. Click the link to check it out!

Boss Lady Gold Coffee Cup

Every lady entrepreneur needs a cup of joe to get her through the day! This gold “boss lady” coffee cup is the perfect gift for the woman on the go or working through course launches, product developments, and sales from home. The best feeling ever is pouring yourself that hot cup of coffee and get started on being productive.

Gift tip: gift this cute mug with a few packets of instant coffee or in a “coffee” basket filled with k-cups or her favorite brand’s coffee.

White Marble MacBook Air Case

White marble is trendy. OK? It just is.

Why? Because it’s cute and luxurious! Why not bring a little bit of “faux” luxury to a girl bosses life by gifting this cute MacBook air case! It fits a 13 inch MacBook which is pretty standard. I’m sure there’s several cases that come in different sizes.

Git tip: If you’re gifting office supplies, this would be perfect to include with a laptop bag. Put the case and all the other gifts into the bag and then wrap it up. It will be a huge surprise!

Boss Lady Name Plate

The cutest stocking stuffer for the girl boss in your life! Whether she has an office space (or even just a kitchen counter), this name plate would make her smile. The classic gold lettering on black is professional yet simple. I have this one and I love to keep it by my computer while I’m working away –  somehow I feel more productive

Gift tip: Include this gift with a heartfelt letter to the girl boss in your life. Tell her how proud you are of her for pursuing her dreams. It’s an inexpensive gift with a big impact.

Work Hard Stay Humble Gold Foil Print

Foil prints are a girls best friend. This chic foil print speaks to the heart and remind us to be thankful for what we have. This would look very good framed in an office space or wherever a girl boss is working.

Gift tip: Buy a gold frame or spray paint one gold and gift it already framed. I am telling you, she will appreciate it so much when it’s already framed. You can get some cute frames at the dollar store.

Ergonomic Kneeling Stool

This stool is every girl bosses game changer! Sitting for prolonged periods of time can be damaging to our joints and back. And if any you fabulous ladies are like me, you prefer to go from sitting, standing, and kneeling when you work. The best part about this gift? It’s one that will help in the long run. It’s a gift that really makes an impact.

Gift tip: Honestly, my tip is to gift this on it’s own if you’re on a budget but want to be remembered. For under $60, it’s one of the most impactful gift’s I’ve ever seen.

Day Designer Planner

The only planner worth anything are the Day Designer planners. And with plenty of beautiful cover designs to choose from, any girl boss couldn’t go wrong with having this planner in her life. Because it’s much more than just a planner – it’s a strategic business tool as I’ve written about here.

Gift tip: Include this gift with a set a beautiful stationary pens and highlighters for ultimate planning time!

Have you seen these things everywhere? Yeah me too. And I thought it was pretty ridiculous…until I tried it a month ago. Phone holding has never been easier. And since I do most of my business on social media – this little $15 device has saved my hand from cramping and awkward phone holding. Also, it’s perfect for live streaming because you can pop it sideways and it will stand your phone up. Score!

Gift tip: this would make such a great stocking stuffer and everyone can use it – not just girl bosses. So stock up!

Perfect for the girl boss on the go who is health conscious. This adorable pink fitbit is a great way to keep track of health while on the go. Plus, it syncs up to an app that can be accessed on a mobile device where you can track steps, heart rate, etc.

Gift tip: pair this with a cute pink water bottle and a gift card to whole foods.

Sleep Mask

Chances are girl bosses aren’t getting enough restful sleep (I know I’m not), which is why having a sleep mask that can be cooled is important. It gives a chance for the eyes to relax and blocks out sunlight.

Gift tip: give this sleep mask with some spa products like a fluffy robe and bath salts for an ultimate relaxing gift.

Hydrating Eye Gel

Remember that sleep mask? Well this is a perfect “before step” that you can include in the gift together. Peter Thomas Roth always makes amazing skincare products that are affordable and work. Every girl boss needs to take care of her skin!

Gift tip: pair with the gift above for a cute spa night gift set.

Kate Spade Laptop Bag

Chic and convenient, this laptop bag is perfect for the girl boss who works from her computer or uses it on a regular basis. It’s very sleek. stylish, and will go with any outfit or with any situation!

Gift tip: Put the 2nd gift (marble case) in with this one for a cute and functional combination gift.Let’s Do Lunch Card Holder

This chic business card holder is perfect for girl bosses getting ready to meet clients or just catch up with a good friend over bites to eat. It keeps cards of all sorts safe – credit, ID’s, and business cards.

Gift tip: I’d be really cute if you included a invite to lunch in the card!

Gold Stapler

Talk about cute office accessories. This gold stapler is #goals. It’s chic and functional – which is every female entrepreneurs dream. Well not everyone’s – but it’s so stinking cute.

Gift tip: pair it with gold staples and other gold accessories for a winning present!

Girl Boss Pink Pencils

As an entrepreneur, I’m always writing and crossing things off my to-do list and marketing campaigns. After all, business is every changing. I started preferring pencils over pens because it allowed me to erase things I needed to change. These pink pencils will do the trick and they make a wonderful stocking stuffer.

Gift tip: use as a stocking stuffer and include more pink related office supplies!

Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones

With up to 40 hours of battery life, this headphone set is perfect for the girl boss or entrepreneur who needs to concentrate on her work while listening to her favorite music or podcasts. I love using my headphones to listen to my favorite business podcast like the Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher.

Gift tip: an audible membership or iTunes giftcard would be perfect to gift with these headphones.

These are fantastic gifts that are life-changing and spark motivation in any entrepreneur or girl boss. I need all of these in my life!

So tell me, what are your favorite gifts for the girl boss or ones you would like to receive as the girl boss/entrepreneur?

  • I meant to get a post out today.. I really did. But when things get messy, I like to step back and just focus my attention on the issue and not tire myself out. This is a huge problem I see when people try to “do it all”. NEWSFLASH: you don’t have to do it all and no one is expecting you to. Go somewhere (or stay indoors) and make sure that YOU are taking care of yourself in some way: meditation, spa, journaling, etc. one of my favorite things to do is walk. And I love walking to the stunning Japanese gardens in the @artinstitutechi 🌳

I love coming here to sit down with my coffee and listen to the water fountains while reading a book. It's a beautiful and serene place in downtown. And it's so lovely seeing everyone enjoy it. What is your favorite serene spot in your city or town? Leave a comment below ❤️ #thepetitebijou #artinstituteofchicago #chicagoigers #japanesegardens

  • I have been a student for what can be best described as "infinity" amount of time. And two degrees, 3 whirlwind majors later, I have a few tricks and tips under my belt about how to survive college. So today I'm sharing 25 of my best tips for not only staying sane - but organized, efficient, and studious. There's some surprising tips there, so do check it out.
I want to know, are you in college right now? Tell us what you are studying ❤️ Are any of you later in life college students?
Here's my journey just in case you feel shy to share:
▪️Spent 5 years in undergrad getting a BA in History & Anthropology. Prepped to study abroad in Britain for my higher degree afterwards
▪️Decided not to pursue a higher degree in History, needed premedical classes I never took.
▪️Applied and accepted into a Post Baccalaureate medical school program. Started my blog during classes.
▪️During this program, couldn't pass Chem or Math (should have known), quit and took gap year doing more internships
▪️Took GRE but got rejected for Marketing and Communications programs due to low "math" score portion of GRE....ok then...
▪️Applied to my last option, got in, and got my Masters in IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications). Best decision ever, should have done it first and sooner.
So you see, it's ok if you're journey isn't doesn't matter. What matters is you find what works for you and you do a great job at it. My journey had ups and downs but in the end, my happiness was priority. #thepetitebijou #collegetips #backtoschool #universitylife #liketkit
