Last Day of the 12 Days of Bijou Giveaways – Design Your New Year

Its been a wonderful 12 Days of nonstop giveaways!

But the fun isn’t over at all – in fact, it’s only just begun!

This December I challenged myself to keep writing, keep interacting – no matter how I feel. Over the past 2 years this blog has been my creative outlet, but I want it to be so much more than that. I want it to be a resource for women just like me! The Petite Bijou is a place to talk style, wellness, beauty, personal development and so much more.

I like to think of it as the spot to go when you don’t have a girlfriend to chat with about life. I’m all ears – and so are the amazing women in this community.

Since it’s the last day of the 12 Days of Bijou Giveaway series, I wanted to make this prize especially memorable and helpful for you.

One lucky reader and follower will win 2 Day Designer Planners – one to keep and one to gift!

You’ve heard me mention these beautiful planners before – over and over again. Why? Because they work. Ever since I started using Day Designer a year ago, I have become more productive. tackled assignments more easily, and jump-started my consulting business.

Day Designer is really committed to getting every part of your life organized. From what you do first thing in the morning, bed time, and everything in between. With their organizational system, you can feel like you’ve gotten all your to-do’s done without it being overwhelming.

What I especially like, which I mentioned here, is how you focus on just 3 main goals for the day. This is really important because shifting your attention to too many “to-do.s” at once can cause you to procrastinate. This is what Day Designer is here to help with. And they have so many cute designs, it’s hard to forget its there – something I know is way too common with planners.

I voted it best planner for the New Year for a reason – it helped me in 2017, and now I want it to help you in 2018!

My #1 goal is to be more intentional with my days. Just think how much could be accomplished if I identified 3 main goals each day.

My #1 goal for 2018 is to be more ‘present’ in my time with family. My dad passed away unexpectedly this past summer and now I want to spend as much quality time with my mom as possible…

  • What is one fashion item that is full of history and has become one of the most iconic things in the world?
The Trench Coat! First designed to be worn by military officers during trench warfare, this coat has become a staple in the lives of many and retains an air of elegance in the 21st century.
Today on, I discuss the trench coat's iconic history and ways in which you can style it for an elegant and effortless look. We also answer the question: can I wear a trench with a long skirt? Something that is quite difficult to style. So head to the link in my bio to read the post!
What is your opinion on the Trench Coat? Do you own one? Do you think it's as elegant as people say it is? Leave a comment below 🧥

  • “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need” - Marcus Cicero
I have a bigger library than I do a garden but I want them to be even bigger! 📚💐 Ever since becoming ill, I have learned to appreciate things which other people sometimes take for granted: holding and reading a book or simply walking through a garden and seeing nature at its work.
These things may be gone to us one day. We need to cherish the little jewels of life. This belief is the meaning behind “Petite Bijou” which translates from french into “little jewel”
So tell me, what is your Petite Bijou of life? 💕

Creating a lifestyle to love makes you smile every day. It’s not about surrounding yourself with expensive and beautiful things but surrounding yourself with things that make you happy.

What makes you smile? What do you surround yourself with?
  • It's here! The French Girl Shopping List is LIVE & I'm sharing the best essentials you need to curate a French inspired wardrobe. Click the link in my bio to read and get a copy 🇫🇷
The last time I saw my family in France was 12 years ago & I remember thinking how fabulous my aunt and all her friends looked. They were timeless, elegant, and carefree. It was 50% of what they wore and 50% of how they wore it that really left an impression on me.
French style is so distinct yet so simple! You don't need a big or expensive wardrobe to recreate it and I'm sharing how in today's post.
