Bijou Beauty: Nail Polish Picks Of The Month

Lately, I’ve been feeling like I need to step up my nail polish game. Although clear nails are always “workplace” friendly, I find that adding a touch of blush, nudes, and pinks really helps with putting together a look that is unique and classy! These cold months before spring lack that festive and colorful spirit (except Valentines day), but even that’s not as colorful as Christmas! I love sparkly nail polish for a special event – but what about the rest of the time? Here are my nail polish picks of the month:

Bijou Beauty: Nail Polish Picks For January. Sharing some of my favorite nudes and pink nail polish picks for the month of January. Loving these colors for a sophisticated but minimal look | The Petite Bijou

  1. 1. Essie’s “Vanity Fairest

2. Essie’s “Allure

3. Essie’s “Ballet Slippers

4. Essie’s “Mademoiselle

I find that the colors above really help with putting together a clean and cohesive look to any outfit and regardless of what you are doing. That’s what elegance is all about! I am all for showing up to work and special events with lovely nude and pink nails.

Love nude nail polish! I hate not having my nails painted and Ballet Slippers is always my go-to, professional and classic nude color. Allure is gorgeous too!

      Hello Caitlin,

Nude’s are the best, because you can get away with only 1 coat! I don’t wear nail polish too often but I’m starting too. Allure is my go-to.

mariam–great picks. you can never go wrong with essie polish! i totally agree, these soft neutral colors are an elegant look to any outfit and workplace friendly. i’ve actually been doing my nails lately and tend to gravitate to darker colors since i’m all about that one coat. LOL. but will check these recs out next time. have you tried the essie gel setter? xoxo,

      Hello Jana,

Thank you so much for stopping by! I really love essie’s polish! They are of great quality and last forever! I have tried the gel setter and I like it a lot! Although I tend to just do one coat of a really really clear nude and put a clear polish on top of that – it doesn’t even look like I have my nails painted, but when you look closely you can spot a difference.

  4. Beautiful colours! I normally do blacks myself, but I definitely want to try this shade out. Hugs, Kait

      Hey Gorgeous!
I haven’t done black since HS! It’s felt like forever. My orchestra instructors never liked me having painted nails so i was the rebel that painted her nails black just to spite them. In the end, they still won lol!

      Hello Samantha,

Nudes and blush tones are definitely trending. To be honest I never really liked them until recently.

      Best, Mariam
