Aren’t off the shoulder and cold shoulder dresses oh so lovely? They are perfect for spring because of the way they move with your body. I really love this dress from Francesca’s that I got on sale a few weeks ago. It was nice enough outside to wear it once but alas, it’s freezing here again. So this beautiful dress will be seen again – hopefully very soon.

If you’re looking for a beautiful cold shoulder dress I really like this cooper & ella ‘Selin’ Cold Shoulder Popover Dress. It’s very similar to the one I am wearing. For a more budget friendly version, this one is really great but doesn’t come in the same color. However, purple is an excellent choice for a lovely spring dinner dress.

OFF THE SHOULDER DRESSES

But we all know that the finishing touch to any outfit are the accessories! I’ve teamed up with Bblackbox – an artisan collective that produces and sells handmade products right out of San Francisco! And if you know me, you know I have a deep connection to shopping ethically, locally, and with purpose.

Bblackbox has partnered with Living Water International and Love 146 – two amazing charities that focus on brining clean water around the world and stopping human trafficking. They donate 10% of their sales to these two charities. Knowing this really touched my heart, as I believe brining awareness to these types of causes.

I really loved this Blaine Canvas Zip Pouch for a great accessory. It’s great for casual business meetings or an easy to carry alternative to a purse. This zip pouch is also a wonderful home office item – perfect for pen and pencil storage! This also comes in navy and black.

The other fabulous accessory I am wearing is the Arizona Turquoise Necklace. This boho and natural hemp rope necklace is perfect for a laid back spring look. I love the simple but beautiful look of this accessory. Turquoise is lovely for a pop of color -especially paired with complimentary colors like orange!

I have a bigger library than I do a garden but I want them to be even bigger! 📚💐 Ever since becoming ill, I have learned to appreciate things which other people sometimes take for granted: holding and reading a book or simply walking through a garden and seeing nature at its work.

These things may be gone to us one day. We need to cherish the little jewels of life. This belief is the meaning behind “Petite Bijou” which translates from french into “little jewel”

The last time I saw my family in France was 12 years ago & I remember thinking how fabulous my aunt and all her friends looked. They were timeless, elegant, and carefree. It was 50% of what they wore and 50% of how they wore it that really left an impression on me.
